Crumbl doesn’t share its recipe, but this brown sugar version with chips and chunks comes close to the new cookie. It makes about 10 large cookies.
Ingredients
- 1 cup (226 g) unsalted butter, softened
- 1¼ cups (250 g) light brown sugar
- ¼ cup (50 g) granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 cups (375 g) all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ¾ tsp salt
- 1 cup (170 g) milk chocolate chips
- 1 cup (170 g) semi-sweet chocolate chunks
Instructions
- Heat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment.
- Beat the butter and both sugars until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Beat in the eggs and vanilla.
- Mix in the flour, baking soda and salt until just combined, then fold in the chips and chunks, saving a few chunks for the tops.
- Scoop large balls of dough, about ⅓ cup each, and space them well apart. Flatten each ball slightly and press a few chunks on top.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, until the edges are golden and the centers still look soft. Let the cookies cool on the pan for 5 minutes.
