Ingredients
- 1 cup (226 g) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup (200 g) light brown sugar
- ½ cup (100 g) granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 cups (375 g) all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ¾ tsp salt
- 1½ cups (270 g) M&M’S Milk Chocolate Candies, plus ½ cup for the tops
Instructions
- Heat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment.
- Beat the butter and both sugars until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Beat in the eggs and vanilla.
- Mix in the flour, baking soda and salt until just combined, then fold in 1½ cups of M&M’S.
- Scoop large balls of dough, about ⅓ cup each, and space them well apart. Flatten each ball slightly.
- Press a few extra M&M’S into the tops.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, until the edges are golden and the centers still look soft. Let the cookies cool on the pan for 5 minutes.
