How to Store and Rewarm It
- It’s best eaten right away, while the cookie dough is warm and the mousse is cold.
- Keep leftovers covered in the fridge and eat them within 2 days, since the mousse topping needs to stay cold.
- To rewarm, scoop off the mousse first, microwave the cookie dough for 10–15 seconds, then add the mousse back on top.
- Freezing isn’t a good idea, because the mousse loses its texture when it thaws.
